Criminal Investigative Unit

The Criminal Investigations Unit investigates serious and complex crimes that require detailed evidence gathering, suspect interviews, and long-term case development. CIU detectives handle cases involving organised crime, major theft, violent offences, fraud, and other significant criminal activity. Members work closely with patrol officers and specialised divisions to identify suspects, examine evidence, track leads, and build strong cases. Its mission is to uncover the truth, support successful prosecutions, and bring offenders to justice.
