Internal Affairs

Internal Affairs protects the integrity, professionalism, and trust of Northstar Law Enforcement. The division investigates reports of misconduct, policy violations, abuse of authority, corruption, and other concerns involving department personnel. Internal Affairs ensures every investigation is handled fairly, confidentially, and without bias while holding all members accountable to the department’s standards. Its goal is to maintain public confidence, improve department conduct, and ensure every officer performs their duties with honesty and professionalism.
